Ashtrom International, through its subsidiary JDP, completed the construction of the Abuloma-Woji Bridge. The bridge was designed to connect and reduce the distance between two villages located on opposite banks of the river.

Bridge and Access Ramps Connecting Two Villages
The bridge and its access ramps were part of a design-and-build project. For their construction, steel pipes were driven into the riverbed, followed by the casting of concrete piles and columns. A total of 63 pre-stressed beams were cast at an on-site field plant and lifted into place using a crane barge.
