Creating a Sustainable Environment
Buildings contribute roughly 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions, and in many cities, over half of emissions are building-related. With the global building stock projected to double over the next 30 years, immediate action is essential to reduce environmental impact across the entire value chain—from initiation and planning to construction, sale or rent, management, renovation, and eventual demolition.

Green Building and Sustainable Materials
Ashtrom Group is committed to enhancing thermal efficiency and developing materials and methods that prioritize energy conservation. Ashtrom Industries produces green-certified materials with recycled content and eco-friendly packaging, supported by life cycle analyses (LCA) including carbon footprint data. Ashdar integrates sustainable planning and energy conservation in residential projects, while Ashtrom Residences for Rent and Ashtrom Properties adhere to green standards, ensuring healthy environments, thermal insulation, energy efficiency, and accessibility.
Advancing Renewable Energy and Emission Reduction
Ashtrom Group’s renewable energy division, launched in 2021, aims to reduce fossil fuel dependency through global investments in renewable energy. The company develops, builds, and operates solar and wind energy facilities in Israel, the USA, Greece, and Poland, with a target capacity of 2.5 GW. Additionally, Ashtrom has installed solar panels on most of its buildings’ roofs, replacing asbestos in industrial areas.
Promoting Energy Efficiency
The group promotes energy efficiency across its diverse properties through various initiatives. These efforts include the establishment of shared charging stations for electric vehicles, the integration of systems to manage electrical loads, the installation of cooling towers, and the use of energy-efficient lighting systems.
Biodiversity Conservation and Environmental Compliance
In all Ashtrom Group projects nationwide, environmental impact assessments and biodiversity evaluations are integral to landscape analysis. These assessments, conducted with local authorities, government bodies, and relevant organizations, are tailored to each project’s type and characteristics. Consultations with ecologists and specialists ensure compliance with guidelines for environmental preservation, biodiversity, and landscape restoration.
